Welcome!

OUR LOWEST PRICES EVER!

Our business firm was established to share the fascinating histories and geographies of many stream of American religious life.

Income from each book was used to publish the next one. Now with our planned books available we want to get books into people's hands. Our low prices help to cover the costs of sending books to appropriate archives and cover long-term deficits.

Beginning with our first historic church directory (New England Congregational, 1989) rave reviews have appeared. The American Genealogist (Jan. 1991) said, "This is the most important work on Congregational history to appear in recent years."

The same diligence and thoroughness has followed in all of our subsequent books - often including greater textual detail, charts, maps, and other additions.

We offer complete historical directories of Congregational, German Reformed, Christian, Afro-Christian, German Evangelical, Congregational Christian, Evangelical and Reformed, and United Church of Christ congregations. Our publications also include significant information on Presbyterian, Plan of Union, Unitarian, and Restoration movement churches.

Several smaller denominational groups have extensive coverage including the Evangelical Protestant churches (in our Evangelical book and appropriate Congregational volumes), the American Classes of the Reformed Church of Hungary (in our Reformed book), and the Congregational Methodist Church (in our southern Congregational book). Origins of the United Brethren, and Churches of God are also described in our Reformed book.

Our Partner Churches volume (described under the Congregational heading) explores one branch of the United Church of Canada, the United Evangelical Church of Puerto Rico, groups in Argentina, Brazil, many Pacific Island nations and much more!

Richard Taylor is a noted church historian and an award-winning author of publications both here and for other publishers.

Since 1989 we have specialized in historical directories of American Churches. Each book includes an overview of the historical events that influenced the development of the local churches and a listing of the local history data of hundreds of particular congregations.

"Taylor's histories are worth buying for the introductions alone." (Bulletin of the Congregational Library, Fall, 2012)
